Gucci Mane Releases El Gato

Gucci Mane, an Atlanta based rapper has just released his new album, titled El Gato: The Human Glacier. The cover art is a glacier with Mane's face and an intricate lion carved into it. The album itself consists of 11 tracks, all produced by Southside, of 808 Mafia. On the album, he discusses his life, and issues that he has seen in his extended family and community. He boasted that everything was recorded in less than two days, while impressive, this also speaks to the quality of the music. In my opinion, this was not his best album, and there was only one standout song on it, "Mall." However, Gucci Mane has big plans for this album, hoping to make a movie about it. He hasn't yet provided more information about what the movie will be about. The past few months have been extremely busy for him, he has gotten off of probation early, gotten married, and released two albums and his most popular song, "I Get the Bag" with Migos.
